Our Curriculum
At Alex Able Academy, our curriculum is created to accommodate each child's unique physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs. Our approach is based on play and promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and exploration. Deeply ingrained in the Montessori philosophy, nature-based learning offers a comprehensive approach to education that supports a child's physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development by giving them rich, hands-on experiences in the natural world. This enables children to explore, discover, and form a strong bond with the environment, encouraging awe and curiosity about the world around them. The Montessori framework's emphasis on child-led learning and independent exploration is a major advantage of nature-based learning. Kids are urged to conduct independent research on natural objects such as plants, insects, and rocks.
